James R. Lange is an Attorney with offices located in Chaska, MN.  His law firm has a diverse practice revolving around Business Litigation, State and Federal Tax Issues, Personal Injury Claims and Estate Planning.

James Lange has worked in the insurance defense industry for a large law firm in downtown Minneapolis handling high value property and personal injury cases involving fires, explosions, or other toxic contaminations in over a dozen different states.  He has spent years utilizing his accounting and engineering knowledge and experience for some of the largest companies in the United States; including work as a corporate accountant and fixed asset manager responsible for tracking the assets of a global manufacturing company with facilities in 17 countries.
 

James Lange completed law school at William Mitchell College of Law. While there, he was selected to participate in the school's negotiation team and also earned an award as a top student in his class due to his work in the school's Business Law Clinic. He also completed a Master of Arts at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., satisfied the requirements necessary to qualify for the Certified Public Accounting examination, and has been recognized by the Minnesota Supreme Court as a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for Civil Facilitative Adjudicative Alternative Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Mediation.  James Lange holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Augustana College and an Associate of Science degree in Technical Agriculture from Iowa State University. In, addition he holds the following supplemental equivalency degree determinations:  Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy, Bachelor of Arts in English from the Minnesota Board of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Agriculture from Iowa State University.

James Lange feels a deep commitment to help those in need, and has volunteered his time and expertise on a pro-bono basis to a number of agencies representing under-privileged or disenfranchised segments of our society.  He is a current or has been a past member of:  the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants, Academy of Legal Studies in Business and numerous other organizations.
